This year's competition will judge a record 371 entries from all categories and mead and ciders. The judging will be held in downtown Boston:

The tentative schedule for the day is:
8-9 AM: Light breakfast and staff check-in
9-12: First flight
12-1: Lunch
1-4pm: Afternoon flight
4-5pm: Best of Show
To allow us to start judging on time, we request that you arrive by
8:30 to check in and get your assignments for the day..
As mentioned on the competition website, the judging is being held
secure building and competition volunteers will need to check in with
building security in the lobby. Please bring a photo id with you.
Also, if somebody will be meeting you later in the day, such as a
spouse who decides to check out downtown Boston while the judging is
going on, would you please forward me their names by Friday so I can
get them on the list of attendies we will be giving to building
security.
Directions to the Judging Location:
• By train: The judging location is easily accessible by the Green
and Orange T Lines as well as some MBTA Commuter rail lines
(Framingham/Worcester, Needham, Franklin, Providence/Stoughton). For

? Green Line: The judging site is located one block from the
Arlington Green Line Stop. When leaving the station, head south along
Berkeley for one block. Turn left onto St. James and you're there.
? Orange Line & Commuter Rail: The judging site is located a couple
of blocks from Back Bay Station. Exit the station onto Clarendon and
head north (crossing over the Mass Pike). After about a block and a
half, turn right on St. James. Go a block, crossing Berkeley St, and
look for 10 St. James.
• Driving:
? From the west via the Mass Pike (I-90): Head east on I-90. Take
exit 22 toward Copley Square/Prudential Center. Keep right at the
fork, follow signs for Copley Sq. and merge onto RT-9 E/Stuart St.
Turn left at Berkeley St. Turn right at St James Ave. Note that you
may also stay on Stuart. Access to parking garage is about half a
block past Berkeley on your left.
? From the North via I-93: Head south on I-93. Take exit 26 to merge
onto RT-28 S/RT-3 N/Storrow Dr toward RT-28 S/Storrow Dr. Continue to
follow RT-28 S. Turn left at Beacon St. Turn right at Arlington St.
Continue to follow Arlington St. Turn right at St James Ave.
? From the South via I-93: Head north on I-93. Take exit 20 toward
Logan Airport/S Station/I-90/Worcester. Keep left at the fork, follow
signs for Frontage Rd/S Station and merge onto Frontage Rd. Turn left
at E Berkeley St. Turn right at St James Ave.
Parking is available in the underground lot at 10 St James Ave.
Access to the lot is available from St James Ave and Stuart St. The
parking garage elevators will take you into the building lobby and
security. The cost of parking will be covered by the competition.
